Cupping Therapy
Detoxify and warm
Cupping therapy is a traditional practice that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction promotes healing by eliminating stagnation, improving blood flow, and enhancing the flow of energy throughout the body.
During the Cupping session, the cups are warmed with fire, generating warmth at the placement areas and stimulating blood circulation. This process also enhances the functioning of the organs. Additionally, the negative pressure created by the fire aids in the removal of harmful substances and toxins from the body while activating the lymphatic system. As a result, this relieves muscle tension, improves overall blood flow, and promotes cell repair.
What conditions can benefit from Cupping therapy?
Cupping is particularly recommended if you have:
- Muscle stiffness
- Fatigue
- Low immune condition
- Lung problems, e.g. chronic cough, common cold, asthma etc.
- Rheumatism
How long do Cupping marks last?
Any mild bruising or marks that may occur as a result of Cupping typically disappear within 10 days after the session. Similar to Channel Scrubbing, it is important to note that these bruises only emerge in areas where toxins accumulate, the different colours of the bruises can indicate different pathogenic factors and stages of stagnation.
