Cosmetic Acupuncture

We are all beautiful in our own unique way. Cosmetic Acupuncture renews, revitalises and illuminates your skin to bring out your natural beauty.

What results can you expect from the treatment?

  • Brightens skin tone
  • Firms and hydrates the skin
  • Reduces pore size
  • Reduces facial fine lines
  • Reduces redness and acne

How does it work?

Cosmetic Acupuncture is gentle, safe and relaxing. During the treatment, fine needles are placed on the superficial level of the skin to promote local blood circulation. This encourages collagen and elastin production while aiding in the elimination of metabolic wastes, reducing skin puffiness and balancing skin tone. These stimulate the brightening, toning and rejuvenation of your face. Additionally, we incorporate body acupuncture to stimulate the internal organ system, ensuring your body’s response system is at its optimal state to maximise the effect of the treatment and, at the same time, promote a balance from the inside out.

How long is each session?

During the session, we do a skin assessment with a thorough intake of your medical history, check your tongue and pulse, followed by acupuncture treatment on both the facial area and body. It takes approximately 70-80 mins for the first session and 60 mins for follow-up treatments.

How often can I get Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments?

It is recommended to do Cosmetic Acupuncture every 1-2 days for the first 5-6 sessions, followed by once a week for another 4 weeks. After that, you can have it done once fortnightly or monthly to maintain optimum skin condition.

How long does it take to see the effect of Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments?

The specific timeframe for noticing results varies, depending on individual body condition. In most cases, you may begin to see a difference in the skin, such as a firmer, brighter or smoother texture, by the fourth or fifth treatment.

Can I do Cosmetic Acupuncture when there are skin flare-ups?

Yes, Cosmetic Acupuncture helps to improve local blood flow and reduce inflammation in the skin, so it is beneficial for acne, eczema and rosacea. The treatment also includes body acupuncture, which helps to treat the root cause of skin flare-ups by regulating the internal organs.

Are there any side effects or potential reactions from the treatment?

A potential downside of the treatment includes mild bruising at the insertion site, which may take up to 7 days to subside.

Is there an instance when I shouldn’t get Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Since you need to be lying in a supine position, it is not suitable if you are pregnant.

Anti-Aging Facial Sculptural Needling

Enter Anti-Aging Facial Sculptural Needling at NATURE HEALS; our newest treatment designed to bring back your youthful beauty.

This treatment is derived from Facial Sculptural Needling and is designed particularly for people who are over 39 years old. As you can see from the pictures below, signs of aging appear mostly from the bottom of the face and these areas are where the treatment targets specifically.

What additional results can you expect on top of Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment benefits?

  • Lifts the face
  • Restores facial fullness
  • Sculpts the jawline
  • Reduces marionette lines, smile lines and mid-cheek lines
  • Reduces scarring

How does it work?

Using specialist cosmetic acupuncture needles, Anti-Aging Facial Sculptural Needling encourages the re-opening of constricted dermal layers to reduce fatty deposits and metabolic wastes and release superficial skin fascial adhesions that cause wrinkles and saggy skin. This treatment also works to promote blood flow to help with collagen and elastin production, as well as enhance the firming, lifting and rejuvenation of all aspects of your face. This treatment reaches further than the skin’s superficial layers, you’ll be amazed by how much it can achieve after each treatment.

Who will benefit from Facial Sculptural Needling treatments?

If you desire a more vibrant and youthful appearance, do not hesitate to try these treatments! However, while we are delighted with the results and would love to showcase the incredible transformations, it is important to note that they are not essential. We encourage you to prioritise your health over beauty. These treatments are intended for individuals who wish to achieve similar results to those of cosmetic surgery but in a more natural way.
